Waterproof Decks

I recently worked with Roofing Solutions NW on a major deck project and couldn't be happier with the results. My 12-year-old Trex RainEscape system had developed multiple issues, and after years of frustration I decided it was time to replace it with a vinyl decking system. Roofing Solutions NW is a certified installer for TufDek, which was important since I also have a dry deck below that needed to stay watertight. They installed new TufDek vinyl decking, stainless steel cable railing with black aluminum hardware, and custom metal flashing around posts and fascia. The crew kept the work area clean every day and were respectful of my property. The end result is a high-quality, low-maintenance deck that looks beautiful. Their professionalism, craftsmanship, and attention to detail really stand out.

Our experience with Roofing Solutions NW was excellent. They exceeded our expectations and were patient with our selection of materials and building options. They were one of the few companies familiar with rooftop style decks and the vinyl waterproof decking we wanted. After a quick investigation, extensive rot was found in multiple areas of our wooden deck — deemed unsafe and very dangerous. Luckily this was caught before it might have collapsed and they were able to completely rebuild our deck. We love our new deck and how it turned out. We hadn't been able to use it for five years prior to them intervening and it's transformed our house and how we use it. This wouldn't have been possible without Roofing Solutions NW.

Roofing Solutions NW came to the rescue for our roofing project! I live in a 3-story townhome that had its original roof installed incorrectly — a flat roof system with no proper ventilation, causing water damage down to the plywood. I had originally contracted a separate roofing company but they did an improper job and refused to come back to fix it. Enter Roofing Solutions NW — referred to me by the original builder. The job got done quickly, professionally, and correctly. I did not have to babysit them like I had to with the previous company. Everything was done right and on time. The roof is now ventilated properly, sloped so water can shed, and waterproof. Roof issues are expensive and stressful but we can now sleep comfortably again. I highly recommend Roofing Solutions NW.

We had Roofing Solutions NW replace our vinyl decking. I dealt with Alex G, who bid the project and oversaw the work. His price was competitive. The real difference is in communication and workmanship. Several other contractors either don't show up, don't answer the phone or won't respond to emails. Alex answers emails and texts promptly. There are no delays. The work was performed by Roman and his crew. They were very professional and careful. They safely removed our existing railing, stored it and reinstalled it in an amazingly efficient manner. These guys don't fool around — no long breaks, loud music or chatter — they just work. They completed this job in two days! Another contractor estimated two weeks!! I highly recommend this company.

Roofing Solutions NW was referred by multiple roofing companies who didn't work with flat roofs or PVC materials. Our Forever Home takes a beating from SW winds off the Puget Sound and sprang a leak after recent snow. Alex & team explained how poor workmanship by the original installer allowed for open seams and undesirable flapping. While other roofers immediately proposed complete removal and a new roof, Roofing Solutions NW came out, inspected, and offered repairs, resealing, patching and tightening at an exceptionally affordable price. It took a crew 3 hrs to complete the job. Alex assured me the existing roof is in great shape and should last 20 years. RSNW patched 4–5 leaks, resealed seams, pulled material tight, resealed and reused original trim — greatly reducing costs. I was greatly relieved. Give them a call for your roofing, gutter or decking needs.
